This past year has been challenging for everyone. The effects of a global pandemic have permeated all aspects of life, impacting both young and old alike. Many have experienced the tragic personal loss of loved ones, physical separation and isolation, business closures or slowdowns, loss of employment, disruptions to our normal way of doing business and many uncertainties due to political and social unrest. These have been difficult times, but we are beginning to see some relief and return to normalcy.
As an organization, Brighton Bank has worked hard to weather this crisis and support our customers and their financial needs. I am extremely proud of the way our employees have responded to these challenges and the tireless efforts they have made to remain positive and provide the incomparable service our customers have come to expect. I also want to express my appreciation for the patience and understanding shown by our customers as accommodations were made to adhere to CDC and government guidelines. I am truly impressed by the way our communities have rallied together and struggled through this unprecedented event.
No one knows what the future will hold. There remain challenges, threats and uncertainties; however, I am confident in the undaunted spirit of the citizens of this great State. Whatever comes, we will face it together and work together to improve the lives of everyone.
